There is too much to Think about and to much not to talk about, that happened in 2008.
I hope I grow into a man that I can be proud of; I have high hopes:

- For the loved ones past, present, and future.
- for the dreams to what may come.
My aplogies for not blogging as much as you all like me too, or more personal about my life. I am hoping in 2009 that I get this blog upgraded, blog more content one goings on and events in Toronto, and open up more on a personal level and blond with you my readers.

These past few weeks have been jammed packed not just for me. Deadlines slamming towards me like a MACK TRUCKS and with the Holidays coming in a time where the economy is in certain rescission and I am most lucky to have a job and a room and a loving supporting Family!
I got a call and giving the most amazing opportunity to go and help out as a personal assistant for a SUPER SECRETE Location for a SUPER HUSH HUSH PROJECT!
At the center of this Location I got Amazing luck to finally meet and chat up, but only for a moment the most lovely Daniela Nardi.
After such a busy day on location I dove into research mode, and took the time to listen to her album, visit her website and just take in the most creative and moving sound and emotion that is conveyed by Daniela N.
I am Speechless!
She is a Muse, and an Inspiration to me at the moment, I am in love with her website, it is so well designed and up to date from an Internet Marketing perspective!
I am in love with the cute social Networking buttons, they are so charming and there isn’t one avenue that Daniela hasn’t have covered in this digital connection age! from YOUTUBE, MYSPACE, LAST FM, and she even has her OWN WORDPESS BLOG!

Two days ago I walked into my house to see a package awaiting me when I came in from the bitter Toronto cold, it was marked and posted from the sunny hills of
California!
This spring during all the fuss and commostion that was going on in my life I had learned about an amazing VISUAL ARTIST who is a bench mark insperation of our time living here in North America.
Linda Woods and Her most amazing Sister Karen Dinino Have written two books:
- Journal Revolution
- Visual Chronicles
Along side these two most amazing project these two sisters also host one outstanding blog that captures the imagination and holds an narrative like none other I have ever discovered out in cyberspace land.

I also am a proud wearer of one of Linda and Karen’s Trademarked I AM ART Black T-shirts.
For me personally, discovering Linda and the form of art work she does was like finding the grand master sense of the art form I wish so hard to come a custom of.
Linda and Karen’s book has showed me the way. I recommend it to anyone who love’s art but thinks you need to be an artist, this breaks the mold and every misconception you ever thought and allows you to dive in and TURN ANYTHING you want into a keep sake or a masterpiece.
I was simply speechless when a few months back Linda woods asked me to come up with a collage for her website. This was like getting a email from Madonna asking me to be featured on her new album. I peaked like any young artist would.

When wondrous things come into your life and you cross pathes with people who are in essence your hero’s in any particular fashion, or art or in any Industry! you can’t obsess over it! I was so happy to be give such an amazing opportunity to be of assistance to Linda woods! I think i wore a smile on my face all day for at lest a few weeks.
However, two days ago. I died and realized that I had been twice Blessed!
to my wonder and amazement I had received a personalized autographed copy of Linda and Karen’s Book JOURNAL REVOLUTION!

As those of you how know me very personally can testify that I am identifiably a homosexual Male!
However! I identify as a lesbian and have for sometime have deep emotional connections with things that lesbians who have entered my orb of life hold dear!
I am a huge fan of VAGINA Music! that being said. the music that speaks to the heart, and lets the soul feel pain and suffering indirectly and songs of true artist not playing pretend diva.
My Top Vagina Music Goddess are:
- Jann Arden, the queen of all sorrows. myself and sister crank her every time some boy does us and dashes out of our lives! we really have held her close and both of us have several of her albums which I do believe both of us when together complete her most amazing catalog.
- Sarah McLachlan, was and is the one Women who captured and let me connect emotionally to how I was brought up and the torments I faced in the real world after I left the woods from being home schooled by my religious mother.
- Amanda Palmer, is the most recent of Women who has entered my life and is my emotional bench mark! Every song from her new album which I discovered only a mire few weeks ago to the back catalog from when she was with the world renowned band DRESDEN DOLLS. I feel like I found a real conch of emotional residence.
The Most important Women to enter my life who is my role model and my Golden Compass is Pamela Detlor.
I Call her Mother, those she did not give birth to me or adopt me in my youth or was my Guardian when I emancipation of myself at 16.
Pamela is more over My spiritual Mother who by means of Great providence and the powers of the Universe, was finally thursted into my life in the summer of 2006. There at first meeting, When I had yet again found the bottom of a bottle and was partying out of my mind. I knew at first meeting when I was introduced to her by her actual nephew ( a close friend from my hometown and high school) that Pam would be a major part of my life in the near future.
I was beyond right!
Pam is the ground to my sky, and I would not be where I am today without her strong voice of ” dear Jesus, Tell me you had Pants On” or ” You can get that idea out of you head, cuz there will be no talk of that”. she knows me better than I know myself sometimes. I can not tell you or anyone how I am so grateful to have her cheering me on and helping me connect with others in the industry of music and all the arts.
She believes in me and is always pimping my graphic design & my Web Design.
Now with the things they are, and her health in question with all the doctors giving us no real answers and her pain at all times highs mixed with frustration.
I have been given a chance to return all the love and support she has given to me over the last 3 years.
I know she will overcome this obstacle and I am glad that I am the shoulder she has to lean on. NO MATTE WHAT.

First off I send to much gulled to my computer! Switching back and forth from page to page, wasting time!
I am flipped my room around, and I know deep down I need to invest in PAINT; some new curtains and a super amazing adventure quest to IKEA. could end up saving the state of destruction that my room as taken on.
IF i had a Dime Every time Mark Gallant Changed his Blog Theme! I have a lot of Fucking dimes. Though I do notice with green jealously that Mark is getting better with every freaking update and revision to his blog. I have decided to start screen grabbing them. Gold star Mark.
Nick La is my Hero and Savior of Graphic and web design! I would never have gotten into Web design and BLogging and creating web content if it wasn’t for Nick La and his most amazing .com.
I spend to much time Playing in Photoshop, I am so excited for photoshop CS4.
The Dashboard of my blog Shelloftheuniverse.com gives me writers block! Sometimes I have it open for hours and I get scared that what ever i write will suck! its so scarry.

I have done very much design work for Yuki Damon, who lives in my home town of Summerside, Prince Edward Island. A few weeks ago I was interviewed over the phone by a reporter doing a story on Yuki for the local paper.

Dealing with a difference

Long black hair extensions. Heavily lined eyes. Bright pink fingernails. That’s how Yuki Damon presents herself. But it’s not what makes her female.
“Mentally I am,” she says. “It’s just the way I am.”
Yuki, 15, is trans-gendered.
As she explains it, she’s physically male but thinks and feels like a female.
The Summerside-area teen has been dressing as a woman for about two years.
“I just put on girls’ clothes one day and went to school,” Yuki says, chatting in the kitchen as mom Shelly Damon prepares supper. “I am who I am. Deal with it.”
Mom remembers it as more complicated, noting they’ve argued about Yuki’s clothing.
“We’ve had to change our way of thinking,” Shelly says. “It’s not our son or our daughter. It’s our child. And if our child was in a wheelchair, would you accept him any less? If our child was walking around four-foot-nothing and five feet wide, would you accept him any less? You just have to kind of go with it.”
Mom suggests it’s a phase.
Yuki replies it must be a lifelong one.
“Even as a little kid, I played with Barbies and makeup.”
Yuki goes to Three Oaks Senior High and says she’s got plenty of friends. She recalls being teased in younger grades, but not now. Yuki speculates no one would dare bully her at school because they’d get in trouble.
Elsewhere, it can be a different story. Shelly recalls insults being hurled at Yuki during a trip to the mall. She worries about her child getting beaten up.
She also feels there’s a lack of resources for parents.
Despite that, Shelly says Yuki is mentally healthy and doing well in school.
Joey Wargachuk, who designed a website for Yuki, has become a friend and a sort of mentor.
Wargachuk, 25, lives in Toronto, Ont., but is formerly of Summerside and attended Three Oaks. He says being openly gay at school means he understands what it’s like for Yuki to be different in a small town. Wargachuk says it’s even more difficult for someone who is trans-gendered.
“You were put in the wrong body,” he explains.
Yuki says she wants to have sex change surgery some day.
She’d like to work as a fashion designer and become famous.
“Being noticed is very important to me,” she admits.
Sometimes Yuki wears her dark hair fanlike around her head. She’s also had it blonde and bright pink.
Though she’s very polite and friendly in this interview, she agrees sometimes she uses words people might find inappropriate and she can be confrontational and headstrong.
“I’m just so out there because I feel a lot of people can relate to me,” she says. “I have so many things in common with people that they just don’t realize because they take one look at me and they’re like – eewwww.”

Today was freezing cold, it was snowing so hard at one point, and you could feel the wind.
Who Cares, when the WORLDS Economy is crashing, OIL IS ONLY 41 dollars a barrel, Family incomes haven’t grown, and lets not forget thousands of people are losing their jobs! That is why I was standing outside at Nathan Philips Square in the heart of downtown Toronto in front of our City Hall!
There is a hope for this country, and that hope comes to us in the Form of a Coalition Government!
if Stephen Harper Thinks he can save his job by putting a lock on the house of commons and prolonging the inevitable. Losing his job like everyone else!
Mary Wash M.C’d and it was good to see Broken Social Scene with Fiest playing a song.
Stephen Dion and Jack Layton both took the stage and filled us with a two speeches of hope and inspiration. we can save our future we can save the economy!
If you don’t support the Coalition, than go out and support the party! such as Ashley Macisacc! he is not to impressed with the the action of a coalition but was standing out in the cold with me and my friends showing his support for the liberal party! Go him, it was good finally to meeting up with him and having a good ole chat!
I was very proud to see Fiest out on stage in the middle of a snow storm, singing with broken social scene, once inside City Hall a wonderful opportunity presented itself and I had a chance to get a few photo’s with the most talented Fiest!
Be Proud to be a Canadian and go out and Brave the element s and show your support, eh!
